Jaded Blossom Guest Designers....

If you haven't figured out by now, Jaded Blossom is one of my absolute FAVORITE companies!!! I love everything about their products! They gave everyone the opportunity to "apply" for a guest designer spot for the next few months. I was thrilled to see that! So, I took the plunge and patiently waited! Well, guess what!? I got an email last week saying they PICKED ME!!!! yippee!!! I'm so over the moon about it! I will be happily Guest Designing for the month of November!!! Along with me, there are 4 other amazing ladies as well! You can find the entire lineup on Jaded Blossoms Blog HERE.

Thanks Michelle & Candace for this amazing opportunity!!!

Birthday Fishes!

I was asked to be a guest designer for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons...how exciting huh? Lisa has some really cute files and digital paper that you can check out here

I couldn't wait to play with these new files I got! I used the side step card for the card base. I put my paper colors down and then I stamped my birthday sentiment on using Jaded Blossom's "Happy Summer" & "Fish On". I took a few of the sea life from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons set "Sea Life". That octopus is so adorable! Hes so my favorite!

My starfish and sea grass has a little bit of flock on it for a sandy affect!

Exploring HTV a Little....

I love vinyl. Can't get enough of it! I've been seeing people post all over about HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl). It looks awesome! So, I decided to take a swing at it and try it out. I don't own a fancy heat press so I just used a good ol' iron. Way harder I'm sure but it kinda did the job ;)

There are a lot of FB groups for htv, vinyl, cameos, etc. And the ladies (and men!) on there are so helpful and wonderful! With lots of questions that they answered, I decided it was now or never!

I got this really fun bag from Barnes & Noble (only $10 with any purchase in the store!) and knew I wanted to add something to it. I decided to go simple and just add my name. It took A LOT of pressure, all sorts of different items to layer between the image and the iron until I gave up. Before I did though, I just put the iron right to the plastic protective cover and it worked! The letters are completely smooth due to all the trials and errors, but I think it looks good for my 1st one! Gonna play with some tshirts tomorrow!

We don't want you to miss any of the fun!

In addition to seeing a lot of awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too.  Miranda will be giving away a Michael’s or JoAnn's gift card (winner's choice).  To be eligible for the blog candy, you are required to visit each stop in the hop and leave a comment!
The winner will be announced Wednesday, June 19th on Miranda's blog!

I found this cute little squirrel in the silhouette store and thought it would go great with the Jaded Blossom sentiment I used =) Both the sentiments are from their Father's Day set and the banner is from Candy Charms & Banners.  I attached my little guy with an action wobble! Look at him go!

Along with this hop, I am going to enter my card into 2 challenges:
  1. Action Wobbles- Anything Goes

Summer Party Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Summer Party Blog Hop"

We are so happy you could join us today!
You should have arrived from Daphne. If you happened to come across my blog or are joining me from your dashboard, head over to Shannon's blog to start at the beginning. We don't want you to miss any of the fun! We will be showcasing party packages with a summer-y feel to them!

My project is a little picture heavy but I wanted to get a little of everything in there for you! I did a big 1000 fan giveaway on my FB page and the grand prize was a party package for 5 guest. My winner wanted a princess theme and the birthday will be on the 4th of July! So I thought this would work great!

I cut this banner out with my cameo. The font, pendants and hearts all came from the Sil Store. I tied it all together with white and red twine.

I love these little invitations! I got this file from SVG Cutting Files. I used Jaded Blossom's Fancy Topper Die for the white cutout for the client to add her details on it. And the front of the castle is stamped with one of their sentiments from 100% Princess. I added a little bling on the castle points and tied some red white and blue twine for a little "extra"

The thank you cards came from my stash of never ending cards! I bought these from Michaels after Valentines day for near nothing! Just a basic red card that can be used for way more than just Valentines day! I used JB's 100% Princess for the sentiment and the fairy girl as well.

These fun treat holders are from svg cutting files (click this link to bring you directly to the store!) as well. Ann really makes some adorable files! I inked them, blinged them up and twined them together! I used Jaded Blossoms Royal Candies for the sentiment and the Candy Charms & Banners for the circle cutouts.

For all my inking and coloring, I only use CTMH products. I really love them! They come out nice and crisp the 1st time. They clean up really nicely too! If you would like to place an order for anything, please click the link below or on my sidebar!

I really love how everything turned out! I don't get to do "girly" all that often and really enjoy it when I do!
Thanks so much for taking the time today to hop along with us!

I am including the entire lineup in case you get lost along the way =)

Have a great day!

Its Party Time!

I needed to make a quick invitation for my boys to bring to school for their upcoming birthday....and by quick, I mean I needed to whip something up Thursday for them to bring on Friday the last day of school! haha! Almost 40 invites but I did them! And for being so quick and on the whim, I think they came out pretty good!

I love Close To My Heart! I don't use the stamps nearly as much as I should but I think I'll start changing that a bit! They stamp so crisp and clear! and to top them off with the ctmh ink!

I used Bazzil cardstock that I found in TJ Maxx for the bases (the blue and green), I printed the white part on my computer and the rest is ctmh. The "starburst" is from Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos, inked in Slate. The "it's my party" is from Perfect Fit-Birthday Occasions, inked in crystal blue. I used a little pop dot for a little extra texture =) Each kid had their invites with only their name on it...but I needed 1 invite for a neighbor kid =) So I just added both names instead of printing up another! haha!

Quick, Simple, and on a scale from 1-10....I would give it a 2 for not being difficult at all! Happy Crafting =)
