Design Team Day ~ Flower Box Card

Hi Everyone! Today is my day to post at Connie Can Crop's blog. I want to share with you a card I made that goes along with Connie's challenge! Lets start with me never having done a box card before. I was always so over whelmed by them! My DT sister Kim is always making them, and making them look so easy! So I gave it a spin. I love them! And I love how my card came out! LOL

I used a file from Lori Whitlock that I bought from the silhouette store. All of my paper is scrap from my stash. The middles of the flowers (the purple flowers) are a fabric/foam flower that I have had for a long time.

I'm going to put this card in the gift basket we are giving to my sons teacher at the end of the school year (next week! Yikes!)

My neighbor just bought a Cricut Expression from a local yard sale page and had no idea how to work it. So, I dusted off my E2 and worked along side her. I haven't used that machine in the longest time so I was a little rusty! I used the create a critter cartridge and came up with this little card. Super simple, but I do love it :)

Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge #58

Time for another monthly challenge with Connie! This one is the inspiration challenge, and she wants you to use the following picture as your guide!

I created a card using lots of flowers! No die cuts on this one, as I'm trying to use up my piles and piles of random things!

I used a die and sentiment from Jaded Blossom. All of the flowers were leftovers from sets I bought from a craft expo one year. The purple tape came from Connie's Crafty Cart.

Can't wait to see what you come up with! Click HERE for all the details and to enter the challenge this month!

DT Day w/Connie Can Crop

Hi Everyone! It's my turn to post over at Connie Can Crop's blog! Today I want to share a cute card I made using a file from Paper Crafting World, our sponsor this month! I'm going to be honest, I'm not a very good paper piecer (is that a thing?!). I usually go the print/cut route to save me some time! But I pieced this little bear together to try it out. About an hour later (does it always take that long!??), shes finished! Shes adorable too ;)

Supplies Used~
Jaded Blossom Birthday Treat Tags
Jaded Blossom Luggage Tag Dies
Stickles Fruit Punch color
All cardstock is from my recycled stash.
I have to use it up! The bin is over taking my area!
American Craft Ribbon

To go along with Connie's monthly challenge, I made most of my card using scraps. I used this cute egg/duck teddy bear that I had from the SIL store and popped him on an action wobble. I had some leftover rumple ribbon I tied in the middle. The tag and sentiment is from Jaded Blossom and the background paper is some leftover Christmas paper! And I have a few random purple gems left that I keep trying to use up! HAHA!

Monthly Challenge #56 ~ Reduce Reuse Recycle

Its time for another challenge with Connie! Her theme this month is reduce, reuse, recycle. Find anything in your house & reuse it!

I used an old jam jar for mine for this project. We get the yummiest jam from our local farmers market and the jars are great! I can't throw them out!

I used a bear bunny image from the silhouette store and put some stickles on him for a little extra sparkle. my rumple ribbon bow on the top and Jaded Blossom to the rescue for my stamp sentiment and die. I wanted to fill the jar with jelly beans, and I went out 3 times for them and kept forgetting! So, I filled my beary bunny with gummy bears! (which are my favorite anyway!)

I can't wait to see what you all create! This is such a fun challenge with all the endless possibilities!
