CTMH Made Easy!

Ever need just a quick little birthday card because you ran out of time? Well, that's me...all the time! I needed a card for a really early birthday party tomorrow morning so I was trying to think of what I could do in a short amount of time. I remembered I had this fun little kit from Close To My Heart so I pulled it out! It's called "My Originals Sweet Surprise Card Kit". It was so super easy to do! I think the most time consuming part was doing the background paper with my cameo (i needed to line up that circle cutout just right!). But really, you don't even need to add a background....kraft paper is so much fun anyway!

I added a fun little sentiment from jaded blossoms Hey Cupcake! set

I filled the middle up with mini m&m's!

Like I said, super quick, very cut card that will please anyone! The best part about this kit? Its only $8!!! Its a 10 card kit but it is in the "only while supplies last" section! Click the link above with the name of the kit and it will take you right there!

Teacher Appreciation Gifts

I had to make a few gifts for the boys teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. Of course I had all these plans to make them something for each day but that never happened :( I have 3 teachers to make for, 2 female-1 male.  Guy teachers are not the easiest to gift!
So...Here is what I came up with:

For Aidens Kindergarten teacher, I made a red tumbler with a cut out of a stick figure teacher. The back of the cup has Mrs. Warner on it.

For Jayce's 3rd grade teacher, I made another tumbler. He is a huge FSU Seminoles Fan so I cut out their logo for this one. And the back has Mr. Laing on it

Logan's 2nd grade teacher I went a a different route with. She is in love with frogs! Everything in the class is ONLY frogs! So I made her a bucket that has her name (Ms. Ponga) with frogs on it. I added 3d flowers I cut with the cameo (got the flowers from the SIL store). For the stems, I used fun green striped straws!

I filled each container/cup up with hershey kisses that I stamped with fun school sayings from Jaded Blossoms Teacher Appreciation Candies.

And finally, I added a little hang card to each gift. I was too tired to make individual cards so I made tags. Everything (dies and stamp images) came from Jaded Blossom as well. The ink and makers are all Close To My Heart .

Thanks for stopping by! I know it was a little winded and picture heavy but I wanted to try and get it all in for you!

Enjoy your weekend =)

For my project, I created 2 autograph books for a good friend of mine. She was taking her boys to Disney for the 1st time ever! When I dropped the books off to them, their look was priceless =) Made my heart melt a little! lol

I used Creative Memories Disney paper for all the pattern paper. The solid cardstock was from Michaels (love how their brand cuts in my machines!) I took a new punch that i just got (EK Sucess Lines & Dots edger) for the bored on the black.

The best part!? I pulled out my bind it all for the VERY FIRST TIME! I've had it for a good 8 months or so and it sat in my closet :( so this was a great reason to finally use it! Love that machine now!

I used pop dots on their names to make them stand out a little.

Each book had about 20 pages in them. I matted each white page (each book as 2 different colors in it).

Hope you enjoyed my project today
       Up next is Miranda !!

Play Ball!

End of our baseball season is here...like tomorrow! I was the team mom for Aiden's T-Ball team the Cardinals and I loved every minute of it! There were times when the coach couldn't be there, or needed help and I got to fill in! It was so much fun! I made 2 cute little cards for both the coach and assitant for the end of season party tomorrow night after our last game!

My 1st card is for our head coach, Coach Jet. He is a phenomenal coach and was fantastic with the kids!

I used a cute file from SVG Cutting Files called Play Ball. Of course, I had to make his uniform match the Cardinals =)
The stamp is from Jaded Blossom's School Rules set. I also used a die from their Candy Charms and Banners Die set.  Added some American Craft twine around the middle of the card.

The best part!? He WOBBLES!!!!!! How fun right?!

The inside is also stamped with JB's School Rules set.

This card is for the assitant coach, Coach Chris. I got both files from the Silhouette Store for .50 each! Score! The inside of this card is stamped with the same thank you as the above card.

Thanks for stopping by!
