Miss Kate Cuttables Guest Designer

Hi Everyone!

Today I get to be a guest designer for Miss Kate Cuttables! Just love her files!

I created a fun Valentine's Day card using the "cute valentine hippo" file.

I used a black card base I had on hand, and every single piece of cardstock was from my scrap stash. I love polka dots and stripes together, and thought these worked great together! Added some bling to the corners of the hippo as well. Inside, I added a white background to make writing on easier, and I stamped my sentiment using Jaded Blossoms "Valentine Luggage Tag"

Thanks for taking a peek and Happy Valentines Day!

North Pole Blog Hop

Welcome to
The North Pole
Blog Hop

To the North Pole I'd like to go,
Over fields of ice and snow;
To see Santa dear,

Mrs. Claus and the elves would be
Waiting there for you and me;
Where they make the toys so busily!

This is a one day blog hop, but you have until Sunday to finish hopping and leaving your love for all of these talented elves.

In his wonderful reindeer sleigh,
Santa would whisk us all away;
Flying merrily,

Non stop to the NORTH POLE!!

I created this fun card using a digital image from Craftin Desert Divas called Grumpy Christmas. Of course I had to add some sparkle to both of them so I used some stickles for that. Al the card stock is from my stash, and I used Artify markers to color everything in. The stamp and tag its on is from Jaded Blossom. Then I inked it with some CTMH color.

Next head on over to Santa's workshop to visit with Kim

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Design Team Day ~ Flower Box Card

Hi Everyone! Today is my day to post at Connie Can Crop's blog. I want to share with you a card I made that goes along with Connie's challenge! Lets start with me never having done a box card before. I was always so over whelmed by them! My DT sister Kim is always making them, and making them look so easy! So I gave it a spin. I love them! And I love how my card came out! LOL

I used a file from Lori Whitlock that I bought from the silhouette store. All of my paper is scrap from my stash. The middles of the flowers (the purple flowers) are a fabric/foam flower that I have had for a long time.

I'm going to put this card in the gift basket we are giving to my sons teacher at the end of the school year (next week! Yikes!)

Connie Can Crop Monthly Challenge #58

Time for another monthly challenge with Connie! This one is the inspiration challenge, and she wants you to use the following picture as your guide!

I created a card using lots of flowers! No die cuts on this one, as I'm trying to use up my piles and piles of random things!

I used a die and sentiment from Jaded Blossom. All of the flowers were leftovers from sets I bought from a craft expo one year. The purple tape came from Connie's Crafty Cart.

Can't wait to see what you come up with! Click HERE for all the details and to enter the challenge this month!

DT Day w/Connie Can Crop

Hi Everyone! It's my turn to post over at Connie Can Crop's blog! Today I want to share a cute card I made using a file from Paper Crafting World, our sponsor this month! I'm going to be honest, I'm not a very good paper piecer (is that a thing?!). I usually go the print/cut route to save me some time! But I pieced this little bear together to try it out. About an hour later (does it always take that long!??), shes finished! Shes adorable too ;)

Supplies Used~
Jaded Blossom Birthday Treat Tags
Jaded Blossom Luggage Tag Dies
Stickles Fruit Punch color
All cardstock is from my recycled stash.
I have to use it up! The bin is over taking my area!

Valentine's Day Treats

It's that time of the year again....Time to make my Valentine's Day treats! I only have 1 left in elementary school so I have to savor it! My middle school-ers did ask me to make something for each teacher though....how can I say no to that?!

I created all of these using Print/Cut with my silhouette. After I cut them out, I did add a solid back to them just to make the little guys more sturdy.

Aidens class will get 20 of the racoon's and his teacher gets that cute little owl!
Jayce & Logan each get the cows for all their teachers (6 teachers each)
Jayce has been "dating" the cutest girl for a year now! He is taking her to the movies for Valentines Day and will give her the lion treat bag!

Supplies Used ~
Jaded Blossom Flag Dies
Jaded Blossom Panel Dies
Jaded Blossom Got Candy

I am entering my treat bags in the following challenge:

I made this cute little card for the hop! I thought this fox was the cutest! The fox is from the Cricut cart, Birthday Bash. I used some pop dots to give him a little depth. The Rhinestones are from Connie's eBay Store, sentiment is from a Jaded Blossom set. The embossed background was from a swap I was in, and my blogging friend Alicia sent it my way! I love the arrows! (sorry, not sure what embossing folder its from!) Anyway, I hope you like my card!

Sorry its the not best quality. I made the card and the next morning, my neighbor called in a panic to see if I had any cards for her to take to a birthday. Gave her this one forgetting that I didn't grab a picture of it! So, she sent me one from her car ;) LOL

 Up next is Alicia!
