I started off with a shaker card for my project today but while my boys and I were enjoying dinner last night, my dopey puppy Nova decided to eat it a bit (she really loves glitter!) Here is a small picture of it so you can see some of it...
So, after dinner, and after I made a great new shirt to wear to baseball today, I made a new one! I couldn't make another shaker as she also ate my foam tape! UGH!
But, all is well, because I really do love the new one I made!
I used a kraft cardstock base and added that fun, colorful paper to the front. I used my explore to write out my sentiment using a pilot precise pen (love not having to rely on cricut pens! I don't have many colors!). I ink the edges using Crystal Blue from close to my heart. The graduation cap is from Miss Kate Cuttables and was her freebie for Friday. I attached it using some pop dots for a little dimension.
Here's our line up in case you get lost.

Both cards are beautiful! I'm glad you didn't give up! I was looking for a pic of your shirt you made to wear to baseball! LOL!
Going to post that this week! I seriously love it! Lol
Sure, the dog ate your homework!! LOL Well, the snippet you showed us of the first card is great. I love shakers as much as Nova! But the second card is great! I can see why you love it! As always, it's a pleasure to hop with you.
Your graduation card is so cute! I love the bright colors you used. Very cheerful.
Sounds pretty yucky to me, puppy has bad taste! But your recovery was good, a nice card!
Great card and so glad you didn't give up - TFS!!
Super cute card! Love the paper!
Oh I hate to hear that about your Shaker Card. It looks so cute! But your new card looks great to. Great Job on both! Happy to be hoping with you.
Super Ah-Dorbz!!!
I love both cars! Great job!
Your cards are great!!!!
So cute! Great job!
Oh my. How unfortunate and funny at the same time. Both card are great, too bad you didn't get to use your beautiful shaker card. TFS and for hoping along. Scrappy luck.
What a cute card!! Sorry about your shaker card. I love the writing on your graduation card. Great job!!
Pilot Precise Pens, huh? Totally going to have to try those, since the Cricut ones don't "lock" the caps down... and dry out fairly quickly. Beautiful card! Great hop!
I've noticed that too about the cricut pens! Thought maybe I bought a bad batch! Haha! Yes, pilot precise...pack comes in a ton of colors and they are cheaper than cricut ones!
Darn dog! That shaker card was so cute! Funny she likes bling! Love the fun colors on the other card too. Thanks for joining!
Your cards are wonderful!
I love your cards
