November Challenge #40 ~ Cornycopia

Halloween is over, the leaves are turning colors, and the weather is finally cooling off. Time to celebrate family and give Thanks. And time for a new November Challenge!

This months theme is Cornycopia! Create any type of project you would like using a corny saying or a pun =)

I created this fun gable box that I bought from the Silhouette store.

The paper I used for the box itself is from My Minds Eye "Everyday fun ziggity paper". I LOVE IT!!!! It cut like butter in my machine!!! Nice and thick to make a sturdy box with! I added a piece of maroon burlap that I bought from Jaded Blossom to wrap around the box. The cow is just the cutest! I layered him up with pop dots for a 3d effect. I inked his edges in Dessert Sand ink from Close to my Heart since well, cows are kinda dirty! My tag is also from Jaded Blossom using the Mini Tags Die and Udderly Adorable stamp set. And the cow was all cute with American Crafts cardstock.

I met Jessica where other than facebook! We are in a lot of the same groups as eachother and have done a few hops in the past together! Its always a fun time =) She shares the same love I have for Jaded Blossom and Close To My Heart!
Jessica gave us a challenge for this hop. We are playing tic tac toe! Here is the board she gave us...we didn't have to do it in an actual tic tac toe order, but...it was fun to do!

Now, we all know she is a CTMH consultant, and we know how much she loves it! So, I decided to use my ctmh stash for this project!

I got this adorable file from the SIL store by Lori Whitlock. I used my ctmh Dream Pop paper for the entire thing.

Her next love is Jaded Blossom....like, she really really loves them! So, I pulled out my collection of them and used their stamps for everything!

I filled the drawer up with some containers of glitter which I put a little JB sentiment on each.

I really love how this little box turned out! So easy to put together too! (of course, after watching the youtube video! haha!)

Love Is In The Air Blog Hop 2/1

Hello everyone and Welcome to Love is in the Air Blog Hop!

Valentine’s Day has to be one of my favorite holidays next to Christmas and Thanksgiving. I love the decor, flowers, candy, balloons, and stuffed animals and let’s not forget the cheesy cards! Valentine’s Day is that one special day we can show extra love and appreciation to all of those special people we have in our lives. To celebrate Valentines Day, I have a group of talented designers that have created their own special project to showcase. We hope you enjoy hopping away and as always we hope to inspire you!

For my project, I made a cute Valentine's Day toolbox. I got this file from the Silhouette Store. I added some tissue paper at the bottom and filled it with yummy heart-shaped York Patties. This box was so easy to put together! I'm thinking this will be going to each kids teacher for Valentine's Day!

The paper I used is double-sided from Scribble Scrabble (Doodle Hearts & Shabby Slate). I cut a circle tag out and stamped the slate side of it with 2 Jaded Blossom stamps from Valentine Treats. I LOVE CTMH ink (all I use!) and this one was Smokey Plum =)
