I took a leap out of my norm which includes treat boxes and cards and decided to make my son a fun little wall hanging for his room. I bought these wood blocks from Michaels a while back and never did anything with them. I painted the edges blue and added green paper to the background. My title is from Miss Kate Cuttables, the tag. sentiment and little fish are from Jaded Blossom. I added some ribbon from my stash and ta'da! I think he's going to love it! I love his expression in this picture! It sums him up perfectly! Such a goofball! This was taken last year at the little fish house in the back yard.

Let's get this Monster Party started!

I got these really awesome hard back burlap panels from Michael's on a major clearance deal! I have never applied vinyl to burlap before so I was definitely nervous! I didn't have any HTV in the colors I wanted so I went with good ol' 651 vinyl (outdoor vinyl). I designed everything with my Silhouette. I love how it turned out and the vinyl is holding up great! I didn't need a sealer or anything!

Up next is the lovely and talented DEBBIE!

Here is our complete line up for day #1 in case you get lost along the way:

Every year I make 2 special little boys fun treat bags that I send up to NY for Halloween. This is their bags for this year, I just need to fill them up with goodies! I bought these bags from Michaels...LOVE THEM! They are so nice and thick, super sturdy!

The green bag has an embossed background from Tim Holtz and a mummy from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I cut him out at 3.5". The tag is from Jaded blossom and so is the sentiment. I stamped the spider web on using an older stamp set that i've had (sorry, i don't know the brand of it). I then embossed it with Recollections Pearl embossing powder in Champagne color. The spider brad is by Making Memories.

The orange bag has all the same supplies used as the green bag, but i used the monster/alien looking doll instead.

I am submitting my Treat Bags in Jaded Blossom's October Challenge

Grab your pitchforks and your overalls because this hoe down is about to begin!!

Now, onto my project! I actually made 2 for this hop...I just couldn't decide which one I wanted to make, so I did them both!

I bought this cute cow image from the SIL store and it came as a print and cut file. I added him onto a wobble because why not? they are so much fun! I used a Jaded Blossom mini tag and stamped it with one of their "farm candies" stamps. I embossed my red paper for some extra texture and added cute washi tape to the middle!

\

My 2nd card was also done with the Silhouette. I added these cute farm animals to a background and did a print n cut with them (cut out the background, but not the animals). The wood grain paper is also from the SIL store. I added that mat to a purple background and put a gold sparkly piece of ribbon around the bottom. I stamped the card with a Jaded Blossom stamp from their "udderly adorable" set.

Up next is the talented Linda!

I put together a quick, but fun card for this hop! Super easy to make. I took a card base (i LOVE the kraft cards Michaels sells!) and I put a fun polka dot sheet on top. Added a polaroid frame that i adhered with foam tape to pop it off the card. Some balloons, bling and a fun "happy Birthday" stamp from Jaded Blossom finished it off!

I hope you enjoyed my project today! Up next is the wonderful Sarah

I found this fun elephant image doing a google search and I did a print & cut with my cameo and adhered her to the card with thick pop dots. I then used a Jaded Blossom tag and stamped the sentiment using their "wild thing" stamp set. I love how it came out!
