Valentine's Day Treats

It's that time of the year again....Time to make my Valentine's Day treats! I only have 1 left in elementary school so I have to savor it! My middle school-ers did ask me to make something for each teacher though....how can I say no to that?!

I created all of these using Print/Cut with my silhouette. After I cut them out, I did add a solid back to them just to make the little guys more sturdy.

Aidens class will get 20 of the racoon's and his teacher gets that cute little owl!
Jayce & Logan each get the cows for all their teachers (6 teachers each)
Jayce has been "dating" the cutest girl for a year now! He is taking her to the movies for Valentines Day and will give her the lion treat bag!

Supplies Used ~
Jaded Blossom Flag Dies
Jaded Blossom Panel Dies
Jaded Blossom Got Candy

I am entering my treat bags in the following challenge:

February Challenge #43 ~ I DO!

I just love the month of February!!! Valentines, new love, & my birthday!!!

This month, Connie put together another amazing challenge!! Theme is I DO, create anything with BLING on it! (you know we all love shiny!)

Click HERE to be brought to Connies blog for all details, and to link up!

Here is what I made for this challenge:

I found a champagne flute from google image and uploaded it into design space. I attached it to my card mat so it would be cut out of it. Then I used some double sided foam adhesive to give it some pop and create my shaker. I loaded it with gold glitter and made sure it was sealed really good! (I think my husband would kill me if it opened up and glitter went flying!) I had gold sparkle ribbon in my stash so I made the little bows around the stems and adhered them with my hot glue gun. When you open it up, there is a little sentiment from Jaded Blossom and the champagne glasses on the bottom are Spellbinders (it was the stamp and die).

I hope you liked my project today! Can't wait to see what you make!

August Challenge #37 Chalk it Up

Looking for the Lazy Days of Summer Hop? Click here!
But, while your here...Go to Connie's blog and enter her monthly challenge!

August is here! Where did the time/months go!? I can't believe my boys will be going back to school in 23 days!!! (doin' the happy dance over here! can ya' feel it!?)

Connie has a great monthly challenge for August! The theme is Chalk. Either chalk paint, using chalk, chalk vinyl, etc.

You must be linked up by Aug. 31, and no back linking (but you can find all the details on Connie's website!)

Here's what I made ~

I had these glass handle mason jars in my pile of goodies for the longest time! I cut out a letter A from my silhouette and put that on 1st. Then, I painted it with chalkboard paint I bought from Targets $1 spot (it was $3).  I'm so not the patient person so I pealed the A off when it was dry almost dry. I made the cutest tag for it. I had these witch feet for about 2 years now and knew I needed to make something for my sister with them (her bday is on Halloween!). I added some washi tape to the bottom of the glass and around the lid. Added the best spiders and web and some paper twine. I added a few goodies from Connies CTMH site as well!

Supplies I used ~
$1 tree mason jar
Target chalkboard paint
Michaels paper twine
Jaded Blossom Sweet Birthday Wishes
Jaded Blossom Best Witches
Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2
Jaded Blossom Treat Tag Dies
We R memory Keepers BEWITCHED paper (for the tag)
Recollections Adhesive Rhinestone spider & web
Recollections washi tape
Close to my Heart epoxy bubbles
Close to my Heart black enamel stars

Thanks for taking a peek! Can't wait to see what you will create!

Every year I make 2 special little boys fun treat bags that I send up to NY for Halloween. This is their bags for this year, I just need to fill them up with goodies! I bought these bags from Michaels...LOVE THEM! They are so nice and thick, super sturdy!

The green bag has an embossed background from Tim Holtz and a mummy from the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I cut him out at 3.5". The tag is from Jaded blossom and so is the sentiment. I stamped the spider web on using an older stamp set that i've had (sorry, i don't know the brand of it). I then embossed it with Recollections Pearl embossing powder in Champagne color. The spider brad is by Making Memories.

The orange bag has all the same supplies used as the green bag, but i used the monster/alien looking doll instead.

I am submitting my Treat Bags in Jaded Blossom's October Challenge

This is one of my top favorite pictures of my top favorite guys. I never had a dad when I was little. Mine bailed when I was about 1. I am so fortunate that my mom met Bryce (Buzz) who helped her raise all 4 of us. This picture was taken at my oldest sons 4th birthday (he is now 10!). Sadly, Buzz passed away 2 years ago this Christmas, but not a day goes by that I don't think of him. His favorite saying has always been, "every day above ground is a good day!".

Onto my project :

I have been dying to use Jaded Blossoms Mustache Dies and thought Father's Day was a great time to do it! I cut out 2 layered labels with my silhouette. The bottom layer I had in my scraps and the white I inked the edges to match. I made the bow tie to match the bottom layer as well. I then used JB's Flag Die for my sentiment, cutting off the one side of it to fit my card base. I inked that as well to match everything. The sentiment is from JB's Love Mustaches stamp set. The inside is stamped with a sentiment from their Father's Day set.

I used these cards for a Father's Day card swap I participated in. I forgot to take a picture of the envelope but I put a piece of Mustache washi tape along the bottom of it and used a little mustache stamp on the flap from JB's Love Mustache's set. (wish I took a picture of that...it came out so cute!)

Ingredients :

Jaded Blossom Mustache Dies
Jaded Blossom Flag Dies
Jaded Blossom Love Mustaches
Jaded Blossom Father's Day
Close To My Heart Pear Ink Z2197
