NitWit Digital Layout

Today is my day to post over at Connie Can Crop

I want to share with you a digital layout I made using NitWit's amazing stuff! They are sponsoring Connie this month and really, their images are wonderful! I was a little nervous at first to try scrapbooking this way, but I'm definitely getting the hang of it! & may just in fact start my boys albums again! My sister in law just had a baby this past Friday so I stole some pics from FB and put together a little layout for her!

I used a bunch of elements from their "Great Expectations" kit.

Don't forget to enter Connie's newest challenge this month! All details can be found HERE

Design Day ~ It's a Girl Banner

Today is my day to post over at Connie Can Crop! I am sharing a banner I made for my sister in law's baby shower. I had so much fun doing everything for the shower since we finally have a girl in the family!! YAY! I used a burlap banner base and cut stencils out with my explore. I painted the letters and stars on with reg. paint (awesome samples from Valspar at Lowes!) and on the silver stars, I sprinkled glitter. I just love how it came out!

This wasn't supposed to be what I showed you-I bought a great box from CraftsuPrint (Connies sponsor this month!) but I haven't gotten it emailed to me yet. But stay tuned, I will be sharing that with everyone this weekend hopefully! Can't wait to put it all together :-)
this is the box I'll be putting together: Duo Champagne

Washcloth Cupcakes

Neal's best friend and his fiance are expecting a baby! We are so excited for them! The shower just passed and I made a few goodies for them =)

The 1st thing I made was a 1/2 dozen cupcakes...made out of baby size washcloths! More than likely the last set I make too! Rolling those washcloths wasn't the easiest thing to do!

I used a handful of goodies for this set. All of my very favorite products!
The 5x7 tray is from the Sil Store. My cupcake liners are from CTMH Artiste Cartridge. My little flag's are from Jaded Blossom using their Treat Flags. I stamped the flags with Babies and Weddings & Sweet Baby. I used a CTMH slate ink pad.

I just recently re-signed up with Close to my Heart as a consultant. I did this about 1.5 years ago but didn't really get into it. I would love to get it going off the ground and will start having some giveaways shortly! If you every have questions about a product, or need any, please let me know!

Ingredients:
Jaded Blossom Treat Flags
Jaded Blossom Babies and Weddings
Jaded Blossom Sweet Baby
Close to my heart Slate Ink
Close to my heart Artiste cricut cartridge
Coordinating paper from DCWV Cotton Bloom Stack

All About Babies Blog Hop

Welcome to the “All About Babies” Blog Hop! So glad you can join us!

If you are coming from Lissa, then you are in the right spot. If you just happened to stumble upon my site or your reading this via e-mail, please start at MIRANDA'S BLOG so you don’t miss anyone’s amazing projects!

We will be showcasing anything BABY projects! In addition to seeing some awesome projects, there is some blog candy available too!  Miranda will be giving away a Michael's or Joann's gift card.  Winner's choice!  To be eligible to win the blog candy, you must leave a comment on each stop in the hop telling us what is your favorite summer time activity!  Be sure to leave a comment on each stop because the winner can be chosen from any of the participants blogs!

For my project today, I created a card for one of Neal's employees. His wife just had their 3rd little bundle of joy and all the staff got together to get him a gift card. I saw a similar card on Pinterest and loved how it turned out! I had to create this from scratch and I think it came out pretty good!

I used tons of rectangles to make my dresser and used pop dots to add a 3d look to my drawers. A few pearl "knobs" completed the dresser!

I used Jaded Blossom's Flag Dies for my banner, and both sentiments came from "Babies & Weddings". I inked them using Close To My Hearts 'crystal blue' & 'chocolate' inks.

Jaded Blossoms monthly challenge is to create something with a gift card theme. I decided to enter my card into the challenge!

Thanks for hopping with us today!
